Practical experience
Dr. Andrés Ocazionez is a Jungian analyst with his own practice in Berlin. In addition to his clinical work, he teaches at the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich and regularly contributes to international conferences and publications. He also works as a supervisor and training analyst.
I love my job. I consider depth psychology to be a highly complex and creative field – almost like an art form. Like art, psychological work requires sensitivity, respect, trust, perseverance, and a good sense of humor. Every dream, every symptom, or every life situation is a psychological interpretation from the outset – a creative artifact, a statement, a theory.
Only through our commitment to the uniqueness of each psychological phenomenon can its depth reveal itself, reach us, and unfold. I am convinced that a depth psychological approach that recognizes the uniqueness of each person and each psychological situation enables effective and creative access to the highly complex and often painful dynamics of our inner world.
